ABOUT US

SINCE 2004

Rollin’ began as a small storefront in 2004, selling and servicing bikes and cross country skis out of the original Bay and Algoma location. A couple moves later, now centrally located at 485 Memorial Ave, the shop has expanded into downhill skis and snowboards, alongside other outdoor essentials. Since day one, we have been committed to the involvement of our bike and ski communities, as well as fostering a passion for each of these sports among our staff members.

WHY CHOOSE ROLLIN'

We want every person who walks through our doors to have the best possible day - whether it’s fueled by the gear we carry, or the repairs we provide. Every member of our team lives and breathes these sports, and that commitment drives us to offer honest guidance, deep expertise, and the kind of value we’d expect for ourselves.

By shopping with us, you also allow us to continue giving back to our region. We have focused on building a team that is eager to contribute to our outdoor active networks, support their efforts, and strengthen the local culture that makes riding, skiing, and exploring here so special.

GIVING BACK

Rollin’ has been heavily involved in Thunder Bay’s cycling community for over 20 years, with several employees currently serving on the local bike club's executive board and trail committee. If you find yourself at a trail-build day, mountain bike race, gravel ride, or just out enjoying the trails, odds are you’ll run into some Rollin’ staff out there too!

We believe that while we are a business, we also exist to constantly help improve the bike and ski scenes in the city; by supporting BlackSheep / TBCC events, fundraising for grassroots ski clubs, or getting involved with ski and board rail jams, we hope to grow the interest in the sports we know and love and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle that takes advantage of the natural beauty in our region and beyond.
